Faculty Recital Series: Solomia Soroka, violin on Mar 22, 2014

Ukrainian violinist Solomia Soroka and pianist Arthur Greene will present a benefit concert for the people of Ukraine on Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Rieth Recital Hall.

Soroka, music professor at Goshen College, and her husband Greene, on the piano faculty at the University of Michigan, will perform works by Ukrainian composers Maxym Berezovsky, Mykola Lysenko, and Myroslav Skoryk.

Admission to the concert is free, and donations will be accepted. There is a minimum suggested donation of $10 per person. All proceeds from this concert will be donated to foundations which support victims and families of those killed and injured in the current Ukrainian conflict.
