String Lessons
CSA’s String Academy offers private lessons on violin, viola and cello to students of all ages, in addition to Suzuki instruction for our youngest students. Students who are new to CSA string instruction may contact String Academy director Rosalyn Troiano by email or phone at 574-535-7908 to set up an interview, after which registration may be completed. CSA string teachers include Ms. Troiano (violin and viola), Jessica Bennett (violin), Lyn Buschert (violin), and Brook Bennett (cello). To register for lessons, call the Music Center office at 574-535-7361, stop by in person during office hours, or register online via ActiveNet.
Private lessons are arranged into Fall and Spring terms of 15 weeks each. Fall term lessons begin the week of August 29, 2011; Spring term lessons begin the week of Jan. 23, 2012. Registration fees and at least 1/3 tuition must be paid before the first lesson. Families may apply forAcorn Scholarships for any CSA private lesson offering. When two or more students in one family take a full term of 15 private lessons through CSA during a given season, there will be a 10% discount on lesson registrations following the first student.
Tuition for a semester of 30 minute lessons is $330; for 45 minute lessons, $495; for 60 minute lessons, $660.
Please note: the deadline for registering for Spring Semester lessons is January 16, 2012. Please register before this date to avoid late fees.
