Opportunities are still available to secure individual tickets for all concerts in the 2011-2012 Goshen College Performing Arts Series.  Individual tickets go on sale Monday, August 8 at the Goshen College Welcome Center.

The Goshen College Music Center’s Community School of the Arts Music Together® program received the Center of the Year Award for Highest Growth at the annual Music Together® Directors Weekend held at Princeton, N.J., in mid-May.

Shout for Joy, a CSA Children’s Choir directed by Sandy Hill, was recently commended by the South Bend Tribune for its role in the premiere of local composer Jorge Muñiz’ composition Requiem for the Innocent, which had its debut in South Bend on October 2.

The Shout for Joy Children’s Choir, a Community School of the Arts choir of area students in grades 6-8 directed by Sandy Hill, will feature in the premiere of a new musical work by local composer Dr. Jorge Muñiz.  The debut performance will be held on Saturday, October 2 at 8 p.m. at the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend, Ind.
