Purple Pass Event

H. Roz Woll and Roy Jennings are presenting a concert featuring vocal music by African American composers on Saturday, 1/14/23, 7:30 PM in Rieth Recital Hall. Works by Marques Garrett, Roy Jennings, Margaret Bonds, Betty Jackson King, Shawn Okpebholo, Robert Owens, Oscar Brown, III, and Dianne Reeves.
Special guests are Nakiyah Kilpatrick, voice; Jakyra Green, spoken word; Lloyd Brodnax King, flute; Birch Baer, percussion; Kent Dutchersmith, bass; and Akira Murotani, trumpet.

This recital is being presented as part of Goshen College’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration activities. Ticket proceeds from this event will benefit Goshen College’s Black Student Union.

This event is rescheduled from its original date in October, 2022. Tickets purchased in October will be honored for the new performance date.
