Lessons

Private music lessons are offered in voice and on many instruments through the Community School of the Arts (CSA). Lessons are taught by trained music instructors. In addition to individual study, students receive opportunities to perform on solo recitals and the purple pass concert option to hear many live Music Center performances free of charge.

CSA regularly offers private instruction in the following areas and may be able to arrange others upon request.

• Strings (violin/viola/cello)
• Piano
• Organ
• Voice
• Guitar
• Flute

Need-based scholarships are available for qualifying students taking a full term of private instruction.

Please note: the deadline for registering for Spring Semester lessons is  January 16, 2012. Please register before this date to avoid late fees.
